I'll tell you how they are different from each other. But for that I need to tell you all about the Animal Kingdom! Come with me! Zoom in! The Animal Kingdom is divided into two groups. Invertebrates and Vertebrates. And today, we will talk about the invertebrates. Animals without a backbone are called Invertebrates. Which are further classified into.. Worms! Sea Jellies! Mollusks! Anthropods! And Sponges! Now, let us explore a little into their worlds! Worms! They have long, soft bodies with no legs. Oh, and two body openings. You've seen earthworms, right? If you haven't, rush to your nearest garden! Sea Jellies! Jellyfish is a good example here. They have soft and long stinging bodies. Stinging because they use their stingers to stun their prey.. ..before pulling them into their stomach. Mollusks! They have soft and warm bodies. Many of them have hard shells, like the snail. Other examples are Octopus and Squid. Anthropods! These animals form the largest group of the Invertebrates. They have their skeleton on the outside of their bodies. Creepy crawlies such as cockroaches, spiders are anthropods. Sponges! They generally live in saltwater and don't move from place to place. They filter nutrients and tiny organisms out of water, for food. TRIVIA TIME! The Invertebrates will eat almost anything that was or is alive. 97% of all animal species are invertebrates. The Princess and the Pea Once upon a time, there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess. She had to be a real princess, though. The prince looked all over the world, but he couldn't find who he wanted. Many young women said they were princesses, but were they really? It was hard to know for sure! There was always something about them that did not seem quite right. So the prince came home again and was sad. He still wanted to find a real princess to marry. One evening, there was a terrible storm with thunder and lightning. The rain came down hard as the wind howled. Suddenly, someone knocked at the castle door. A young woman stood outside. She said she was a princess who had been caught in the storm. But what a sight the rain and wind had made her look! The water ran down from her hair and clothes. It ran into the toes of her shoes until they overflowed. Still, she said that she was a real princess. We'll soon find out! thought the old queen. She went into the bedroom and stripped all the bedding off the bed. She took a pea and laid it on the bare bedframe. Then she took twenty mattresses and placed them on top of the pea. Finally, she put twenty blankets stuffed with goose feathers on top. On this bed, the princess had to lie all night. In the morning, the queen asked her how she had slept. "Oh, very badly! I barely closed my eyes all night," said the princess. "Goodness knows what it was, but I was lying on something hard," she added. "I am black and blue all over my body-it was horrible!" she cried. Now they knew that she was a real princess. She had felt the pea right through twenty mattresses and twenty goose-feather blankets. Nobody but a real princess could be that sensitive. So the prince married her, for now he knew that she was a real princess. The pea was given to a museum. You can still see it there, if you like.
God is the owner of all the earth, everything in it, and all those who live on it. A steward is someone who manages and cares for someone else’s property. People are stewards of God's property. Stewardship means the management and care of someone else's property. Christians should understand that they are stewards and that they are responsible to God for everything He has entrusted to them. God has blessed Christians with various natural talents, skills, and abilities as well as spiritual gifts. Christians should be responsible stewards of these and use them to glorify God. Time is important to God. Christians need to manage time wisely and not waste it. A spiritual gift is a divine ability that God gives Christians to help build up the Church. The Bible has much to say about stewardship of one's money and other material possessions. Possessions are things that are owned. Jesus warns Christians not to lay up, or store up, treasures on Earth because earthly riches do not last. Seeking God's will is far more important than gaining earthly wealth. Stewardship involves using God's resources wisely. This includes being obedient to God in giving money to the Church selflessly giving to those in need. Godly stewards will have great joy as they use what He has given them to serve others.

There are two numbers you need to know about climate change. The first is 51 billion. The other is zero. Fifty-one billion is how many tons of greenhouse gases the world typically adds to the atmosphere every year. This is where we are today. Zero is what we need to aim for. To stop the warming and avoid the worst effects of climate change, humans need to stop adding greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. This sounds difficult, because it will be. Every country will need to change its ways. Virtually every activity in modern life – growing things, making things, getting around from place to place – involves releasing greenhouse gases, and as time goes on, more people will be living this modern lifestyle. That’s good, because it means their lives are getting better. Yet if nothing else changes, the world will keep producing greenhouse gases, climate change will keep getting worse, and the impact on humans will be catastrophic. But “if nothing else changes” is a big If. I believe that things can change. We already have some of the tools we need, and as for those we don’t yet have, we can not only invent, but also deploy them, and, if we act fast enough, avoid a climate catastrophe. Two decades ago, I would never have predicted that one day I would be talking in public about climate change. My background is in software, not climate science. Things changed for me when I met with two former Microsoft colleagues who were starting non-profits focused on energy and climate. They brought along two climate experts who were well versed in the issues, and the four of them showed me the data connecting greenhouse gas emissions to climate change. I kept learning everything I could about climate and energy, agriculture, oceans, sea levels, glaciers, power lines, and more. One thing that became clear to me was that our current sources of renewable energy – wind and solar, mostly – could make a big dent in the problem, but we weren’t doing enough to deploy them. It also became clear why, on their own, they aren’t enough to get us all the way to zero. The wind doesn’t always blow and the sun doesn’t always shine. Within a few years, I had become convinced of three things: 1. To avoid a climate disaster, we have to get to zero. 2. We need to deploy the tools we already have, like solar and wind, faster and smarter. 3. We need to create breakthrough technologies that can take us the rest of the way.
Eagles and Eaglets Bald eagles are birds. The baby birds, or offspring are called eaglets. Let's read about how eaglets are like their parents. It's Nesting Time. All birds lay eggs. Bald eagles build their nests in the tops of trees so the eggs will be safe. Their nests are built of sticks and grass. They add on to their nests each year. They can become huge! These giant nests can be as large as nine feet across. That's bigger than your bed! The mother eagle lays from one to three eggs. She sits on her eggs until they hatch. Then both parents watch over the nest. Proud Parents. At first the eaglets are helpless. They cannot walk. They need their parents for food. They also cannot see well. Birds are not mammals. They do not have milk to feed their young. They hunt for food. Eaglets also need their parents for safety. Eaglets Grow Up. Bald eagles use their sharp eyes to hunt. They use their strong wings to fly fast. They also use their claws and beak to catch fish. Young eaglets must learn all these things. Then they can live on their own. Unlike mammals, birds have feathers, not fur. An eaglet is born covered with soft gray down. It cannot fly until it grows dark feathers like its parents. The eaglet stays near the nest until its wings grow strong. That takes about five months. An eaglet becomes an adult when it has learned to do all the things its parents do. This takes about five years. Bald eagles can stay alive for up to thirty years.Bald Eagles Soar. Once it learns to fly, the bald eagle can soar for hours. The bald eagle must take good care of its feathers. It uses its beak to groom itself. It must keep its feathers clean. Can you believe this powerful eagle began life as a helpless baby?
