Location: Closer to equator ( warm, maximum sunlight). Rain: about 100 inches per year. Contain half of all land dwelling species, provide large percent of earth's oxygen. Examples: Amazon in Brazil animals are toucan, dart frogs, snakes, and leaf-cutter ants.
