Last September, I was climbing a mountain with two of my friends. The sun was shining and we were having a fantastic time. When we arrived at the top, we stopped and looked at the amazing view. Then, we sat down and ate some sandwiches and drank some water.

Later, as we were going back down the mountain, clouds appeared in the sky and it started to snow heavily. The wind was blowing so hard that I almost fell from my rope. After a few minutes it was clear that we couldn't continue climbing down. Luckily, we found a small cave in the side of the mountain and went inside to stay safe and warm. It was a good job I had plenty more sandwiches in my bag because we were stuck there all day and most of the night.

--They could see dark clouds from the top of the mountain.

Early the following morning, after it stopped snowing, we could hear the sound of a helicopter. I took my torch out of my bag and we went outside the cave. I held the torch in the air and quickly turned it on and off again. Fortunately, somebody in the helicopter saw it because soon a rescue team arrived to take us back down the mountain. We were safe at last!
