On a sunny day in a faraway village, Paul was bored since he has nothing to do. Because of this, he watched the chickens in the poultry as a means of amusement. While watching the chickens, he thought of something exciting. He stood up and shouted, "there's a wolf in the poultry!"
The villagers rushed to the scene only to find out that it wasn't true. Paul was amused with their reactions and how they get there fast.
"Don't lie like that, boy," said the villagers.
The next day, he shouted "there's a wolf in the poultry!" again. Afraid that the poultry would be left with no chickens, the villagers rushed to him again. But they saw no wolf. Once again, Paul was delighted to see their fast reflexes. The villagers went mad and said, “save your frightened cry for when there really is a wolf! Don’t cry ‘wolf’ when there is no wolf!” But the boy grinned at their words while they walked away.
A few hours later, the Paul saw a real wolf enter the poultry and assaulted the chickens. Paul cried, "wolf! there's really a wolf in the poultry!"
