Remember how we said Latin nouns are basically on different teams (declensions)? Yeah, same idea still holds.
Each team has its own jersey set (the pattern of endings they wear), so you can instantly tell whoās on what team.
But hereās the twist: depending on what job theyāre doing in the sentence, they switch jerseys within their team. Those different jerseys are the cases.
So:
Declension = your team
Ending pattern = your teamās jersey style
Case = the position youāre playing in the game
Same player, same team⦠just switching jerseys depending on the role.
So, let's start by grouping the teams based on their nominative (team captain) form.
