Jediah got a kite for his birthday but did not know how to fly a kite. His mom told him to take the kite outside and run really fast. "When you start to run the kite will float into the air," said his mom. Jediah did what his mother said, but the kite never flew into the air. Then out of no where a big gust of wind came and lifted the kite into the air. Jediah held onto the kite string and looked up at his colorful kite dancing in the air. "You did it!" his mother said.

There was a mouse that lived under a house. The lady living in the house does not like mice and wants to get rid of them. The lady put mouse traps all over the house but the mouse was very wise. Every day he would put toy mice into the traps. The mouse knew the lady had bad eyesight and would easily be tricked. The mouse was so proud of himself for tricking the lady.

Logan's class went to the school carnival today. It was a lot of fun. Logan won two prizes. He won a balloon and a toy car. He had a great time with all of his friends. Finally, he got to watch a magic show. Logan can't wait to get home and tell his parents all about his fun day!
