What is the question of the Gemara on our Mishna?
Why does the Braissa mention honey?
Why is the guy who broke the barrel Chayiv?
Why does the Mishna switch from Jug to Barrel
When is snack time?
30s - Q2
What is the answer of Rav Pappa?
The word Kad is Interchangeable with Chavis
Rav Pappa asks a question he doesnt have an answer
The Mishna isnt so specific with its wording
30s - Q3
What is the Gemara's inquiry about Rav Pappa's answer?
If Kad and Chavis are interchangeable, how will anyone buy a barrel, they'll always get a jug?
What planet are you from? A jug and Barrel are not interchangeable
Lemai Nafka Mina? How does the fact that the words are interchangeable make any difference in Halacha? Who cares that they are interchangeable
30s - Q4
What is the Gemara's answer to the inquiry of Lemai Nafka Minah?
it docent matter there just interchangeable because they are
Rabbi i need another snack
for barrel rolling contests
the fact that the words are interchangeable matters in cases of buying and selling
30s - Q5
What's the Gemara's question of הכי דמי - אילימא?
Why doesnt this guy just demand a refund?
Who would buy from someone that docent know what a barrel is?
What situation of buying and selling are you referring to? If you're suggesting that he's its in a location where everyone calls Kad a Kad and Chavis a Chavis, how can we say that the words can be interchangeable when buying a selling?
30s - Q6
What is the Gemara's answer of לא צריכה?
No, This teaching that its interchangeable is needed in a location where most people DONT mix up jug and barrel but SOME do.
this whole law isnt needed
We need this law to teach that in a place where everyone mixes up jug and barrel there are no refunds on any containers since we never know what anyone means anyways
30s - Q7
What is the מהו דתימה (What would I assume?)of the Gemara's answer
we should split the money in half
we should follow the minority and make the buyer take the jug
Since MOST people mean Barrel when they say Barrel we should go based on the majority and assume that the buyer meant jug when he said jug and the seller must give him the barrel.
30s - Q8
What is the Ka Mashma Lan (what the Mishna and Rav Pappa come to teach us)
Wait you mean to tell me that just by the Mishna switching a word the Gemara is gonna eanr such a huge idea about when we follow Majority?
Money cases always follows the Majority no matter what
You would think we decide what the buyer meant based on MAJORITY, Rav Pappa and our Mishna come to each us that no, when buying and selling even when there is only a minority that mix up Jug and Barrel we DONT decide money mater based on MAJORITY. Rather a proof must be presented to get the money back from the seller.
