 No man is born self-sufficient and dependent.

Socialization is the process by which human beings acquire personal identity, learns the norms, values, behavior and social skills appropriate his or her social life. 

Sociologist Jeffrey Arnett cited three primary goals of socialization

Second, socialization teaches impulse control and helps individuals develop a conscience 

Human development refers to pattern of movement or change that begins at conception and continues through the life span. 

Jean Piaget was a developmental psychologist and Anthropologist. 

The nurture aspect used to refer to the care parents give to their children. 

The nature aspect used to refer to the human nature or the soul. 

 Sociobiology is a field of scientific study which is based on the assumption that social behavior has resulted from evolution. 

All people need social interaction to nourish normal human development 

Children who grow up without social interaction are called feral children .

 feral children  develop language skills, had only limited social understanding and could not be rehabilitated.

Attachment theory offers an explanation why social deprivation has direct harmful effects for children. 

Piaget identified four stages of cognitive development:

sensorimotor, pre-operational, concrete operational and formal operational. 

Socialization is a never-ending learning process that begins soon after birth. It plays an important role at each phase of human development
