Assessment AS Learning occurs when teachers use inferences about student progress to inform their teaching.

Diagnostic assessment is generally used toward the ending of the class term, diagnostic tests are a type of formative assessment that allows the teacher and administration to determine  the proper level of instruction for students. 

CFormative assessment are in-process evaluation of students learning that are typicall administered multiple times during a unit, or academic program.

Assessment of Learning occurs when teachers use evidence of student learning to make judgements on student achievement against goals and and standards 

According to DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015, the weight distribution of the summative assessment in TLE  1-10__ for Written Works,__ for Performance Task and __ for Quarterly Assessment.

Performance assessment do not typically require students to complete a complex task, such as writing assignment, product making, speech, presentation, performance, or long-term project

A variety of assessment strategies is necessary, with summative assessment taking priority to inform teaching and promote growth and mastery.

Classroom Assessment is an ongoing process of identifying, gathering, organizing and interpreting information about what the learners know, understand and can do.

Result of summative assessment are recorded and are included in the computation of the final grade.

Assessment for Learning occurs when students monitor and reflect their progress for future learninbg goals.

Summative assessment are used to evaluate student learning at the conclusion of a specific instructional period-typically at the end of a unit, course, semester, program or school year.
