Social status acquired by a person either by ascribed or achieved status of characteristics.

Ascribed status cannot be earned by any individual.

It is called achieved status if the society assigned individual based on fixed category, regardless of its abilities and performances.

Some socio-economic status examples are income, occupation, and education.

According to Karl Marx there  is more capitalist class than working class.

Status can be fixed and earned depending on individual’ s family and

capabilities.

Political stratification happens globally.

Open class system  is a fixed social class position 

All individuals are born unequal.
