The fox and grapes One day, a fox is thirsty. He is looking for water. Then he sees several bunches of grapes on the vines. The grapes are round and purple. They look nice. The fox looks at the grapes. He likes them. He wants to eat these grapes. But the grapes are high. The fox can't jump high enough. So he cannot get the grapes. A bird is coming. She sees the grapes, too. She eats the grapes easily. The bird is happy, because she likes these sweet grapes. The fox cannot eat the grapes. He is sad. "Those grapes are sour. I don't like them!" says the fox. Then he goes away.
