Transactions: Charges and Corrections 2022

When you enter a transaction by mistake, OneSite allows you to reverse it.

When the transaction is reversed, OneSite creates a second transaction of an equal amount to offset the original transaction to adjust the ledger balance.

What function do we need to perform when you reversed a transaction that you thought you credited to the wrong account, and then realize that there was no error in the original post. 

When you accidentally credit a payment to the wrong household, OneSite will not allow you move that payment and apply it to the correct household.

All items with a transaction code PMTOPACH in a ledger are electronic payments.

The _________________  option lets you assess charges or credits to all residents, or a selected group, at one time. 

You can use bulk transactions to post both charges and credits.

Depending on your property’s refund process, you can inform your accounting department to process the refund check for the resident.

In OneSite, you can add, edit, or delete a required deposit for a resident through the Deposit by Code pane.

In a resident’s Deposits ledger, required deposit transactions displays “Summary” in the Date column.

What details a resident’s deposit activity?

This process is to apply a payment or a portion of a payment from the resident ledger to the deposit ledger

OneSite calculates late fees based on the late methods set up at  the property.

If late fees do not post on the late day specified by the property’s setup, then OneSite prompts you to post them before forwarding the date.

You can use the ___________________  tab to track income that is not directly related to a resident but still needs to be deposited and shown as income for the property.
