The Best Weekend Ever!

Last weekend was amazing! My friends and I went to a beautiful lake near the mountains. We took our backpacks, swimsuits, and lots of snacks. On Saturday morning, we bought some sandwiches, chips, and drinks from a small shop near the lake.

First, we swam in the crystal-clear water. It was so cold, but we laughed a lot and even had a race across the lake. Then, we ran to the picnic area and ate our delicious sandwiches under a big tree. After lunch, I sent a funny picture to my mom to show her how much fun we were having. 

In the afternoon, we used a small boat to explore the lake. The sun was shining, and the view of the mountains was incredible. We saw some ducks swimming nearby and tried to follow them.

At night, we drank hot chocolate, and told spooky stories. One of my friends even tried to scare us with a silly monster impression.

On Sunday morning, we packed our things, cleaned up our campsite, and went back home.
