The reason we became friends was rock music, especially guitars. We’re both crazy about them! And he’s the kindest guy I know, too. Finally, there’s my best friend, Matt. Our parents brought us together, really, because they became friends through a school event – and both our fathers are doctors. And we got on together really well straight away. The fact that our two families are close helps a lot because we all spend weekends together at the beach, so there’s always someone to go swimming with! But it’s hard when you lose friends because their families move away – like my friend Zak. He moved away a couple of months ago when his dad got a job in another city, even though the family had enjoyed their lives here, living in the same street as us.
