Teacher: What can you say about the impending resumption of face-to-face classes?
Â
Student A: Personally,I don’t think it is safe to return to school just yet. As medical experts say, vaccines do not provide 100% immunity against the virus. Therefore, even if everybody in the class is vaccinated, there is still a chance of contraction and spread of COVID-19 within the class.
Â
Student B: As far as I am concerned, it is now time to go back to our usual learning environment—the school. I enjoyed distance learning a bit as I was given more time to complete my academic requirements, but nothing compares to in-person classes.
Â
Student C: I agree with Student B. If you ask me, going through distance learning has been the loneliest time of my school life. No real-time classmate and teacher interaction at all! Most of the time, I don’t feel like studying or learning in this kind of setup.
Â
Student D: From my own perspective, the lack of socialization with school pals and teachers can be compensated by your interactions with people at home. I believe that the safest way to continue education even with the availability of vaccines is to stay at home and learn remotely.
