Ā If someone is having a nose bleed, yourĀ priority is to control the bleeding and keep their airway open.
Ā Ā Get them to sit down (not lie down) as keeping the nose above the heart will reduce bleeding.
Ā Ā Get them to lean forward (not backwards), to make sure the blood drains out through their nose every ten minutes, until the bleeding stops.
Ā Ā Ā Encourage them not to speak, swallow, cough, spit or sniff because this may breakĀ blood clots that may have started to form in the nose.
Ā Ā Ā If the bleeding is severe, or if it lasts more than 30 minutes, call for medical help.

InĀ ancientĀ times, camels roamed all continents, with the exception of Australia and Antarctica.
Ā Ā Ā More than 3000 years ago, people in Asia who lived in the desertĀ tamedĀ camels. They used camels as their transportation, took their wood and consumed their meat. Ā Ā Many people live in dense, dirty areas whereĀ narrow, shallow rivers are located. There is a potential risk ofĀ flooding, which might be caused by both humans and nature. Human bad habits are some of the main causes of flooding. People throwĀ garbageĀ andĀ trashĀ in the river. The flow is blocked and consequently, the waterĀ spillsĀ onto the land.
Ā Ā Ā In addition, natural phenomena mayĀ resultĀ in dangerous floods. Naturally, floods happen when rain is extremely heavy, over an unusually long period of time. In some cases, areas that experienceĀ a great dealĀ of snow in winter areĀ proneĀ to springtime flooding when the snow and ice melt, especially if theĀ thawĀ is relatively sudden. Rainfall and melted snow can sometimes combine to cause floods.
Ā Ā Ā A unique combination of factors sometimes also causes floods. For instance, whenever the ocean is at high tide, a low-lying coastal area is at risk of flooding. Exceptionally high tides may beĀ attributedĀ to storms, caused by a combination of factors, like low barometricĀ pressureĀ and high winds.
Ā Ā Ā Finally, floods can occurĀ regardlessĀ of the climate. Examples are volcanicĀ heatingĀ and rapid melting of a snow pack atop a volcanic mountain or under aĀ glacier, or even failures of natural or man-made dams, and tsunamis, seismic waves on the sea or large lakes that are caused by earthquakes

Ā Ā Digestion is the process by which food is digested into smaller particles or molecules for use in the human body. Digestion starts from the mouth and stomach, but most takes place in the small intestine. In these places, the food is mixed with substances called enzymes, which speed up chemical reactions in the food. The fats, proteins, and carbohydrates (starches and sugar) in the food are made up of very complex molecules and must be digested or broken down.
Ā Ā Ā When digestion is completed, starches and complex sugar are changed into simple sugar, fats are digested into fatty acids and glycerine, and proteins are digested into amino stream. Other foods such as vitamins, minerals, and water do not need digestion. The rest of the food passes into the large intestine. Water is taken back into the body. The remains, or faeces, go to the rectum.
