    The senseless and useless deforestation done by some irresponsible persons was one of the causes of a widespread flooding resulting to the massive loss of lives and properties. However, some non-government organizations conducted immediate actions as initial remedy to this arising problem. Among the solutions are the conduct of information-dissemination campaign on the importance of trees and proper waste management to avoid massive floods. Another one is by encouraging the youth to join tree planting as one of their yearly activities.
