Three large fish lived very happily in a pond which few people ever passed.
One day men who were passing by the pond was the fish. one of them said, "let us hurry home and get our nets. those fish are too fine to lose."
The three fish were very much fightened. The first one thought a moment, then swam through the outlet of the pod into the river.
When the men came back with their nets, there were only two fish to be seen.
The found the outlet of the pond and made a dam across it.
The second fish now began to think. It came to the top of the water and floated on its back. One of men picked it up in his net, but it seemed dead, so he threw it back into the water.
The fish that never thought sank to the bottom of the pond and was easily caught.

Tsunami is Japanese word from aseismic sea wave generated by an undersea earthquake, landslide, or eruption. Most tsunami happen along the ring of fire. It is a zone of vulcanoes and seismic activity . The zone encircles the pacific ocean.
Historically, tsunami has caused much destruction and death. Sibce 1819, about 40 tsunami have struct the hawaiian islands ad since 1883, about 20 tsunamis have struck Indonesia. The last one was on December 26, 200, which caused over 100,000 death.
A stunami can have a width of 100 to 200 km and may spread far across the deep ocean. the speed is as fast as a jet plane. When the wave reaches land it can be very high, about 15m or more.
