manner of a Receptionist as she/he welcome/greet guests.
How many are you? Is an appropriate approach when asking guests.
Allowing your guests to stay put first as you check their name at the reservation
logbook.
Assist the guests in sitting if the waiter/attendant is not available to attend.
Looking at the guests, smiling, greet them pleasantly is enough to
to feel that they are properly welcome in the restaurant.
Walking faster as you lead the guests to their table is efficient to assist
immediately the other guests came into the restaurant.
Recording the customer’s logbook the number of guests, table number,
the exact time of their arrival is one of the SOP or standard operating procedures in the restaurant.
